I figured it was high time for me to add a little color back into my blog. Enter, the parrot culottes of yesteryear. This was, what you may call, a perfect summer outfit, since it was made of soft, breezy moments such as the one we were experiencing in the picture. However, with how short this top was, I know it would've easily been a fashion faux pas if the wind blew just a little harder. I'm trying to get mysellf out of my style rut, which, if anyone has had similar experience before, is no easy task. The fact I didn't go for my usual stripes in this shoot is a step in the right direction.
My life has been synonymous with work lately, and being sick - which is what I was for the last couple of days. I had the flu, believe it or not, and I had to cancel some made plans. Boo hoo me, but I'm doing better now, a bit, just a sniffle here and there. Sigh. Do you ever get the feeling that your life is simply playing with your emotions, waiting for you to snap? That's me in a heartbeat right now. But I've never given up before, and I don't plan to start now. The plan is just to plow through and hope for rainbows on the other side.
