Phoning It In

I know we always want to be our best possible version, and on this blog, that means a constant stream of reinvention of your personal look. Believe me, I want nothing more than to always give you a unique spin on clothes, but sometimes, like this day, I really just needed to phone it in because, well, I really don't know. I was lazy, I guess. Haha.

If you think I'm too obsessed with chokers right now, you're right haha. Now I just buy tops with built-in chokers. It's super cute though, love the low cut. I always love a low-cut top. I am also so into grommet details right now. I have a top and a skirt with these cool details. Can't wait to wear them together, because you know I just will. Anyways, the weekend was a tiring one, but fun. We finally got our closet up, shoe closet assembled, things put in place, and just overhauled our little space. It's not done yet - that's a lot more work, but we're in the right direction. Then on Sunday, my mom had the great idea to book a room at the Studio City again, which messed up my sleeping pattern (or lack thereof). But all's good. There are a lot of fun things in my future, so continue to come back to my corner in cyberspace! Next time I won't even phone it in ;)

H&M Conscious Exclusive

Oh H&M, always the place of surprise. This latest, new Conscious collection is, in my personal opinion, the best one yet. I truly love those small artsy details in all the pieces, and this top right above has soared to top 10 on my to-shop list for spring! And the long, black ball skirt with the fringing, but it's a little too over the top for the office. Haha. Imagine, all that beauty and the knowledge that what you're wearing is eco-friendly, there's no downside, except of course the dent in your wallet. Also on view is the new H&M Wedding collection.

The showroom was designed so cute this time around, with a refreshments area jam packed with all-healthy fresh juices, fresh and dried fruits. H&M, this time around, has also worked with Redress, an eco-fashion initiative based in HK, and featured Angus Tsui, the winner of the EcoChic Design Award Hong Kong 2012 People´s Award. He designed some pretty awesome bracelets made from extra fabrics from the H&M workshop, which we got to bring home. You can check it out on my IG (@styleche).

In Reverse

You remember this jacket? If not, scroll a few posts down and find satin flowers. Yep! It's the same one. This amazing jacket is reversible and the other side just happens to be a very on-trend pink jacket. It took weeks before I figured this out, and that was by accident, since I was fixing my newly-downloaded wardrobe management app, hehe. Being the perfectionist I was, I couldn't just take pictures on my phone and download them to the app. The quality was too bad, instead I have been finding the product pictures online one by one. Believe me, this is very typical of me...I have brought my perfectionist nature right to my blog.

Anyways, Macau's weather has been so effin' dismal lately, so I haven't been out much. But that's okay because the renovations are taking over my weekend. One big renovation is the new, custom-made closet we had made. I wish I could tell you it's a walk-in, but I'd be lying. Besides, a walk-in closet is not practical where I live, it's too humid. I would have to buy an air drying system just to keep my clothes safe from mould, haha.

Kids, if you're reading this, let me educate you in on something that will happen once you leave high school - that uniform you hate, someday it will be part of your closet, MWAHAHA. I am starting to be really obsessed with the South Korean brand "Kleeaisons". First the perfect spring coat and now this pinafore dress. Just like high school.

If you're wondering whether these photos were taken in an apocalyptic wasteland, nope, it's a construction site, but then again the whole of Macau looks like a construction site right now. This wasn't my first background choice to take pictures, but there was a dead rat where my usual picture spot was -.-. Needless to say I got out of there. Let's go a little off topic here, but while I was taking these pictures I suddenly had this hilarious thought about what I would be blogging about if there was ever a zombie apocalypse. I was thinking of making a post called "What To Wear When The World Ends". Haha, it was gonna be all leather belts and long ponchos a'la Milla Jovovich in "Resident Evil", as well as combat tactics for killing mindless drones of zombies. I watch Walking Dead, I'm an expert.

Oh my gosh my brain scares me sometimes. This is the most useless thing I have ever talked to you guys about. Haha. I hope you still wanna meet me someday and have long conversations over coffee in the future. I'll see you soon darlings, enjoy the rest of your weekend - Che

Streetstyle Mermaid

If Ariel was from this century, and a street style enthusiast, she may be dressed like this. Haha. I found this velvet/sequinned skirt while out and about with my family in China. It was Leon's birthday, and my parents wanted to get him something nice from H&M. Oh and the rest of us as well, tee hee. My parents can be so amazing. With this outfit, I can now confirm that this bomber can elevate any outfit. I could've worn a latex body con dress in red and it wouldn't have made a difference.

Anyways, the days have been too dreary and gloomy lately, the weather on this morning notwithstanding. So, I've been spending my days trying to keep my mood up. You know bad weather really gets me. But so many awesome things in the near future! One big awesome may be that i would finally share with you actual pictures of Casa Li. We're renovating our apartment.

Rust & Tobacco

Oh fashion, making me forget what words are actually named for, and instead making them into viable color options. Like, if someone said, hey that's rust, I'd be like - oh I like that color, I have a coat like that. Haha. Oh and if you're wondering, my top is in a very questionable color called Tobacco.

I kid. It's the weekend again so I have a reason to be a goof. Winter has returned, as Macau dips back into 11°C. But I guess it's legitimate reason to wear my coats for a little while longer, like this pretty rust-colored coat. I have had this for a quite a while now, but I am really relishing in the wait of using my new stuff. Surprises are always in store for you here on StyleChe.

With winter coming back though, makes me ache even more for my upcoming short holiday to come. I just got this cool one-shoulder, super ruffle top and I can't wait to show you. Another time, maybe. See you soon darlings! - Che

Let's go back to weeks ago. It was super sunny, but also quite cold. One jacket was not quite enough, but two was just right. Haha, yep, I wore my grid-print trench coat like a dress underneath my leather jacket. Then just simple enough basics like a pair of joggers I actually just used to go to the gym (tee hee, please don't tell, haha). It was the weekend, hehe. I was feeling a little lazy.

These photos, they're so cool right? Sometimes I can't believe my luck that I found someone who could make my pictures look the way they do. No, we're not perfect in any way, and we do have some photos that we just couldn't salvage - the photos we do post, they're perfect in every way.

Macau's weather forecast says it will be cold again soon, but hopefully, that does not equate dreary and gray. We'll soon see, I guess. oh I can't wait to lounge around on the beach again - soon, very soon. See you lovelies! Till next time.
