I am uninspired. I feel stagnant, rooted. And the weather is not helping my cause. Blah...haha, sorry for the negativity, but I really just feel this way. Anyways, here's a very simple outfit to do errands in. Tee + Shorts + Flats = VOILA! This tee is very old, but it was always one of my faves. Funny how it has never made its way onto this blog before but I guess I usually wore it when I had nothing else to wear. A slick of red lipstick and minimal accessories to play up the outfit, oh and Lennon-style sunnies I nicked from my youngest sister. 

I really want to find something to do while I'm still looking for work, but as of now, I come up blank. At least there's this blog! If not for this, I might go mad. So expect more posts to come dears,

Here's a short post for today. I just wanted to share this insanely awesome maxi dress with you! It's a local purchase from some no-name shop around Macau. I wore it to go with my parents and Leon to do some kitchenware shopping (Leon's more of the translator) some days before he left. Why such a festive dress for such a mundane day? well, mostly because I wanted to and because it was so hottttttttttttttttt! Just too hot to wear anything else. I couldn't help taking photos, although not outdoors this time because it was hard to find a spot to take photos without hitting anyone or without bystanders in the background (or foreground, which has happened). This M&Ms wall was probably the most secluded place we found, haha, but didn't it match the dress perfectly?

And again, I almost missed the sun. With Leon back in his hometown for a couple of days, it's been very hard to schedule outfit shoots. I've had to rely on the free time of my sisters, which is not much. But anyways, here's a new outfit for you, featuring my newest top, this feather-print top I bought on a whim after the shirt I was wearing got something all over it. I wanted to keep the look breezy and summery, hence the bright orange shorts and minimal accessories. 

Remember these shoes? I bought them last year and they are some of my most comfortable shoes. But they are very delicate now, the heel is sort of coming off. Actually, I barely wear them, but I guess I thought they matched this outfit. So that's it, please be patient with me, and enjoy your week!

Ahhh, wearing flats is such a big relief. I do have a lot of flat shoes, but I seldom wear them. These shoes though, I would wear everyday! Comfy and cool shoes, goes with everything without killing my feet. For the first look, I paired them with my brand new leather shorts and a summery shirt given to me as a souvenir from Thailand.

It continues to be scorching hot, so this outfit was perfectly breezy and comfortable for a day out with my sisters. I helped them choose all their school stuff for the upcoming school year, and then we cooled off at Pacific Coffee with some cold drinks and pastries. Very fun day! Anyways, that's it. Here's another retro-inspired look today featuring a very recent present from Leon. Yep yep, he bought me Doc Martens! It was a very spontaneous present...we were playing billiards one night and I see a girl in big, bad combat boots (not Doc M's). I tell him to come with me check around for said boots, not buy, look. Then he decides to get me these anyway, says I've been drooling over them for months and he wants to change that, haha! Can you say loveeeee? I've been wearing them day in, day out, heck, I might sleep in them. Definitely my winter boot!

I know I promised my new purchases, but I haven't gotten around to compiling them yet. I've been very busy, looking for a job (now that I'm done vacationing), fixing some errands I didn't get to do when I was in the Philippines, and catching up with Leon and my other friends. But I will get to it eventually, promise. So, I'll see you soon,

Hi sweeties! After nineteen days of shaky internet connections and lack of good outfit shots, I am finally back in the place I call home, with my own internet access, my wardrobe, and even better, Leon, my unofficial photographer. Shooting is just not the same without him. And so, before I get to the extremely long list of new purchases, here's a quick outfit post for you today--

The tee is a little something I bought in Manila, in a shop called American Boulevard. I have a weakness for Coca-cola collectibles - which is hilarious, because I do not drink softdrinks, much less coke - and I have amassed a small set throughout the years. I have glasses, watches, jewelry and now a t-shirt, which of course, makes me really happy!

Anyways, these shots were taken the day after I got back, because it happened to be the monthsary, which we celebrated with a movie "Jason Bourne Legacy" and dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. I think this outfit was perfect for Hard Rock, don't you? And since indian summer was still happening in Macau, the breezy skirt made this outfit bearable! My new purchases post will be coming up soon, so till then my dear sweeties --

We were fortunate enough to be able to have a great guide for our trip; she would pick us up every morning to drive us around and bring us to the places worth going to on such a short span of days. Cebu is a goldmine of historical settings which happen to also be almost next to each other! The first photo is a shrine (of which I cannot recall the name) and right at the other side of the street was an old, ancestral home of a chinese family dating back centuries which was amazing because it had four dining areas - why a family would need four dining areas we never found out...there were also churches, forts, memorials, so many things to see. 

And of course, what summer vacation would be complete without a beach? My parents decided to go for the complete experience and booked a villa a few steps away from the beach - it has air conditioning and everything. So right after our long trip we headed there, and spent the rest of the afternoon just chilling, resting for the planned activities the following day; needless to say it was a perfect ending to a great day! Hope you sweets are doing ok, I'm currently so busy with the wedding preparations, which will be happening two days from now. So, I'll see you soon -
