Parisian Feels in Polkadots and Pearls

I think my obsession with all things Paris is coming to a head. While editing these photos, I found myself listening to the playlist from "Midnight in Paris" - a movie I loved very much. I thought I would have gone there by now, but it wasn't in the cards. Oh well, I'll get there soon enough I guess.
This outfit happened all because of this top (but I guess you already knew that). I saw this top while finding a dress on Asos for a wedding I would be attending later this year, and I just had to have it. I didn't end up buying any dresses though, hahaha. Don't feel bad for me, I did get a dress eventually at Missguided. Though we had no destination in mind for these photos, we ended up in front of this place for these shots - which somehow worked.
I just paired the top with my usual jeans, boots, beret and this pearl choker, which tied the whole look IMHO. Sigh. Here I am dreaming again. Hahahaha. So, what do you think of this outfit lovelies? Yes or Nrrrrr! Let me know in the comments below! See you soon - Che

Okay so maybe I spoke too soon because I haven't seen sunshine in a week as of today, but this was my post title when I edited these photos weeks ago, and well, I don't plan to change it anymore. This was a very random outfit on a day where I really had no idea what to wear.
I was on the fence if I wanted to post these photos but Leon loves this set, and threw a little tantrum when I told him I wasn't planning on posting these hahahaha. Don't worry, we're good, and you get these photos, so it's a win-win, yeah? Outfit-wise I was feeling for a more casual look, but I never feel me without a little outfit fine-tuning, hence the addition of this little lace bralet to my hoodie haha, and though flares and the 70's may not be a trend anymore, I love these trousers. I've never been one for changing my entire wardrobe to follow trends anyways.

Purple Power Suit

You know those cop shows where they have an 80's callback episode and there's always this one dapper dude in a powder blue suit? That's me in this photo. Continuing my obsession for all things purple this year, I went and bought this amazing purple blazer from a usual Taobao haunt, FF Studio, and of course paired it with the newest addition to my shoe collection - these amazing Nikes.
I have always been a very big fan of all things matchy matchy. For me, it is the easiest way to look like you've got your shxt together. Matching my shoes, shirt, blazer, and even scent seemed like a no-brainer, even more so than usual because it came in this insane color.
Anyways, I've been having one of those down days recently, and at such a bad time too, because the stuff I need to do are piling up and I'm just not in the mood to level the workload. But I hope to start Monday off on the right foot. I need to get invitations done, ace my IELTS, book rooms and flights, get a dress for a wedding, keep up my exercise routine, and somehow cook for myself - oh and of course there's this blog and my little project. Okay so maybe I do know some people whose schedules are probably more insane than mine, but gosh I really can't even right now. Wish me luck lovelies.

Hi hi lovelies! Look what I found forgotten and lumped with like four other sets in one folder. Yep! It's my last set from the 5Preview items that were loaned to me by the amazing people at Popkorn MKT. The last piece is this amazing pair of culottes with a sheer panel. They may have been my least favorite loan of the group, but this outfit was a good one and I still love them.
I was in a mood for color that day, or so it seems. I was also very, very sick. Oh yeah, now I remember why I forgot about these - it's because I was horribly ill for a couple of days. And busy, very busy.
Anyways, all I did after this was do some groceries with Leon for dinner that night, and then turn in for the day. Though we may have this urge to keep at being busy, sometimes rest is the best decision. So, what do you think of this post, loves? Let me know in the comments below! - Che

Shenzhen | Baby Doll Vibes

Soooo...maybe I didn't take enough travel photos to warrant a travel post of our recent trip to Shenzhen, but to tell you the truth it was more of an R&R trip and an excuse to turn off your phone and chill. I'm that type of person who could be on it at social media for months, and then suddenly shut off for a while to recharge. I need it, crave it. I usually spend the time with my family, my hubby, and tons and tons of movies.
Just this week I've watched Timeless, Lucifer, Jumanji 2, two more Marvel movies, and Kakegurui over a span of a couple of days. Just sayin'. Hahahaha.
Anyways, we did take this set while waiting for our ferry back to Macau from Shenzhen. Once again, I pushed off packing until the very final hour before we were set to leave the house so I just scrambled for everything I could find. Thankfully this is what I ended up taking, hahahaha, and another outfit I don't really like so....but it's okay. We can't get them all right all the time right?
I love this one though, so gothic and romantic and so not really in tune with what I was going for but...HAHAHAHAHA, I dunno, it is how it is. These boots and this coat and this dress though, right? I think they're a match made in gothic heaven.
Lifewise, don't feel so bad for me. I am actually somewhat busy nowadays. I now have two new projects, wedding plans are happening, and a whole new slew of travel plans I just started. Ahhhhh! Okay, I won't say anything now because our plans are not 100% there yet, but the moment it is - trust me loves, you'll be the first to know.

Hi darlings, happy April! How have you all been? If you ask me, I've been feeling a little restless lately. There's just so little to occupy you when you're not working, and right now I'm starting to get that sense of ennui. I love that word BTW hahahaha. So...I went ahead and jumped head-first into a big project I don't think I had any business starting because, ennui or not, there are so many different threads in my life right now that I have to fix before this year is over, and the deadlines are getting close. A new project is exactly what I don't need on top of everything else.
Oh well. Hahaha, I'll let you know how it goes.
Anyways, I know you didn't click on this to hear me talk about my existensial problems, and if you do, thank you, but here's the post for today. This skirt gets almost no love in my closet, and I don't even know why. It's an amazing skirt. I was feeling that Blush Crush vibe again since spring sprung back into Macau, and I thought two blushes make a right. I paired it with a polka dot top I just picked up from Zalora days before, and the usual suspects in my wardrobe - this bag, these boots, and my amazing, vintage denim jacket.
I feel like Polka dots are the sleeper trend of the season, don't you? Not many sites are raving the return of the dots but I see them everywhere right now. I do love me a good dose of prints so I have already bought another top in this print, albeit with the colors reversed hahahahaha. You will see my new polka baby soon enough. Anyways, life has been quiet, lovely, and chill, but flights have been booked, plans have been made, and things are coming. So see you soon lovelies! - Che
