I feel like a thousand bucks in my ruby hued bag and silver skinnies :) So, a little more business casual than usual...I wish I could tell you I was going somewhere important or awesome, but no. I had lunch, took these and then to work. Surprise! Not.
I sometimes wish I had real reason to dress up on a daily basis. But dressing well though I have nowhere to go has become a very useful talent. Because we'll never know. What if someone suddenly drags you on a spontaneous trip - which has happened to me, trust me, and I was not prepared! - or you see some old friends (or rivals, or enemies) and they want to have drinks? At least I won't be caught dead in a ratty tee, and my housewear slubby cutoff shorts. In this century? Gosh, you'll be in all the pictures on Facebook looking like you just woke up next to more well-dressed people.
Outfit-wise, it's still cold. Boots, a knit and the whole she-bang, made special by my silver jeans and new velvet bag. A very beautiful red bag. I saw this same bag in four different colors, and I wanted them all! Amethyst, sapphire and emerald. Too pretty to be called in their normal names. Do you like jewel-tones sweeties? I personally am not a fan...too prom-my for my tastes. But I'd reconsider if they all looked this good. Well, I'll see you soon,
