Yes. In my mind I am lounging in a beach chair under some palm trees, or in an amusement park, minimal clothing on, munching on baby pink candy floss.
Don't let the pictures fool you. It's been downright dark and dreary in dear old Macau. I've almost forgotten what sunny days look like, having to check back on my old posts to remind myself that there was such a time. Hence, some fun clothes to cheer me up - under heavy winter pieces because it's cold again.
These are two latest additions to my closet. A fuzzy powder pink sweater and a neoprene skirt with palm trees. One of these days I will show them with warmer fare (that is, if the sun ever comes back) but for now they would have to do under these winter layers. So, this is my take on the current pink trend. I just can't justify buying a coat/jacket in the shade now. Maybe when the next sale comes up I'll snatch a few. Yes, I'm a stingy shopper when it comes to certain trends I'm not head over heels for. Tee hee, this just happens to be one of them. But doesn't this sweater add just the right amount of sweet to an otherwise all-tough outfit. And it really does remind me of cotton candy.
Funny little story of the day these were taken, I almost left my camera inside the bus I was on. It took me three minutes to realize the bag wasn't on me. Fortunately, some tourist was asking up a storm of questions to the driver, so the bus hadn't driven off yet. Imagine if I didn't realize that and just walked off? How devastating that would be. I would have to stop blogging personal outfits for the immediate future (at least 3-4 months), so in other words...maybe forever, because I will crawl into a rock and never come out again. Needless to say, for such a small thing, I was really shaken. And Leon and I decided that he would be the one to bring the camera from then on. Not forgetful, tragedy-bound me.
Whew...and that's how you can still see my outfit of the day! Have any close calls or tragedies to share with me? No matter how inconsequential? Tell me in the comments - and see you soon!
