For the last day of Fashion Week '15, there was only one show I had planned on going to - Shanghai Tang, and boy did I make sure I would look the part between my tight bun and floral top. Unlike my previous outfits, this was a spontaneous decision, thankfully coming just in time as I was throwing clothes into my duffle bag. Yep...a leather tuxedo this time around.
Shanghai Tang did not come out as I expected it to be, which was fun, bright and has this vast array of prints and colors. Instead, it was a sombre affair, with black, white and mostly red tones. Not that there was anything wrong with the pieces per se, but I did expect a little something more. The evening wear collection was an A though, in my book. It was elegant, sparkly and had enough details like pleats and prints to be interesting.
I wish I could talk more about my last day but it really wasn't much. It was great to meet new people, see exciting designs and be part of that world again, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't just a teensy bit glad it's over, since I'm finally back home, in my couch and PJ's - which is the truest form of happiness. Boy, I am exhausted beyond belief.
So what do you think of Shanghai Tang? Let me know!
See you soon,
