Croatia | Fever Dream

Princess Peach returns! This time for a three-day romp around one of the most beautiful places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting - Dubrovnik, Croatia. Imagine a bright blue sky blending seamlessly with the most vibrant ocean blue you will ever see. Imagine terracotta roofs providing the much-needed contrast to all the blues. That's technically what Dubrovnik is from a majority of angles.

After a long work week in Montenegro, Carla and I set off for its closest neighbour, Croatia. We needed R&R, and that's what we got. Finally, the focus was not on following a strict itinerary, darting from place to place until we were tired, but on sun, sea, and sand, and a little walking in between. On our first full day, we started out quite early in the morning to walk the entirety of the Old Town walls, which took almost two hours. Worth it! These pictures above are from that walk. I decided to be a peach explosion for the day. Then after that we spent a few hours on a rock in Banje Beach, before ending the day with a Sunset Kayaking tour. All good fun. I was very tired at the end of the day and refused to leave my bed to party that night.

Don't fret though, because we more than made up for it the next day. But that's a story for another time. I hope you enjoy this post, and let me know what you think in the comments below!

Till next time, darlings - Che
