Lazy Holidays

Jacket, sweater and heels: Forever 21// Trousers and shirt: Uniqlo// Bag: Zara// Pendant: Asos

It's that time again - when all the shops are closed, all the borders are crowded, and everything is decked out in gorgeous flower arrangements and red/gold lanterns. Yep, Chinese New Year. Now, to be honest darlings I've been dreading these days like the plague. It's hard enough getting along with the in-laws on any ordinary day, but on a major holiday? But I guess everyone was in a more festive mood than usual since everything went very smoothly. My CNY weekend was all R&R, meeting more relatives, and some delicious Chinese food.

Of course, being me, I got a little shopping in there too - Uniqlo again this time. I've never been a big Uniqlo fan, but I have to admit, they have some amazing basics hiding behind all the feather-down jackets and flannel. I got myself two shirts that finally fit perfectly, and these trousers, which are actually leggings - they don't have buttons and zippers, and are just elastic at the waist like all other leggings. Queen B would approve, don't you think? What caught my eye was of course the little special white stripe running along the sides. It adds character, noh? We took these pictures on the last day of the weekend. since it was raining a lot. Black, white and flannel makes for a perfect lazy outfit.

Oh finally, just a little suggestion, but if you ever find yourself wanting to visit China during CNY, take it from me and scrap that plan! It's crowded, many shops close, and many restaurants' prices skyrocket. I suggest a beach instead ;) So see you soon? - Che
