Monday Weekender

Top: ASOS// Pants: Me & George Vintage// Bag: Nessa// Sandals: Birkenstocks// Sunnies: Bershka

Yesterday's fun, today's punishment. Sorry loves, but right now I'm in bed with flu and a fever, not how I wanted to end my awesome day off. Leon and I had a long day planned, including getting my entry permit to China as well as doing some things for our impending mini-wedding.

I guess I never really explained why I've been so busy these past few weeks - well, sweeties, Leon and I are getting married (which you know) and at the same time getting our own baby apartment. Yes yes, big plans, I know, and all so very exciting. But of course, getting it all together will strain your body.

So, ah, the pictures above. Well, yesterday was the first time we ever saw what will be our new home. And it was all we were waiting for before finally starting our furniture shopping. So, off to HK to get some inspiration - we went to Ikea, Homeless & Sidekick, and even took a short reprieve at HMV Records. Eventhough we were on a tight schedule to get back, we still got sidetracked by all the things you will find on the streets of HK, more specifically, Causeway Bay. HK is always awesome for these short visits.

I kept my outfit at a bare minimum - easy seafoam crop and comfy PJs. It was too hot for anything complicated. I love these pants - got them ages ago at my fave vintage store in Kowloon. Speaking of which, I should really see about getting some vintage furniture for the new apartment. Hmmm...I'll update you! But now I have to get some more shut eye. What would you wear to go furniture shopping, sweeties? See you soon - Che

  8. Exciting, exciting!! Super exited for you guys! Getting married, new home... and whatever comes next... it's all going to be awesome, I know for sure! Oh, and vintage furniture would be great. I actually upcycled old vintage furniture for my place.... way better than all the new stuff thats around. I love giving new life to something old. It's cheap and it will become something exactly what you wanted! How awesome is that!?

Looking cute! Feel better soon Che!!

    Kisses,
    Lucia

Other topic: Currently, I'm looking for a new lense, since my 50mm 1.8 II is broken :-( What kind of lense do you use, Che? Any recommendations are welcome :D

    1. I use the 50mm 1.8 too - auto focus which is so much easier =) I did try the 100mm once - it's good, but you'd have to be like, super far to get a full body shot, hehe
