Cheap Monday | Take it to the Streets

I'M WEARING>> Bag and Earrings: c/o Cheap Monday// Jacket: Topshop// Top: Supre// Jeans: Asos// Boots: Something Borrowed// Makeup: Ivan Rui

If I were to summarize this look, I would say I looked like a hybrid mermaid-Na'vi creature who just so happened to like streetstyle. Hahaha. Nah, I'd like to think I looked like an 80's-90's rocker chick with a penchant for all things sparkly. And funnily enough, I'm not on a street so much as a dusty construction site, so I don't know why I named this post as it is. Hmmm...maybe I'm just tired but oh well.

Anyways, so the sweet people of Popkorn PR recently sent over some pieces from the Pre SS18 Collections for me to play around with. I gravitated immediately towards the unisex Mega jacket - which I will show you in a future post - as well as a few choice accessories. I've always been a fan of Cheap Monday because I like the way it screams street chic in the most understated, Scandinavian, way possible. I also recently just discovered that their clothes and accessories are eco-friendly and sustainable, but I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise since CP is part of the H&M group, and H&M is another brand I know dedicated to sustainable fashion.  I love it when fashion brands put emphasis on this, and that's why I thought to mention it today.

For this look, I went for the Cheap Monday tote bag to match this denim on denim look. Just a simple tote that utterly completed this outfit IMHO. If you're wondering why my face is looking extra fierce with the smoky blue shadow, then you'll have to come back to my blog in a few days =)

So, what do you think of this post? I think Leon and I are starting to get a hang of the new camera we bought, but we're still a long way from mastering it. Let me know if you think we succeeded. And of course, what are your thoughts on this outfit? As always, let me know! - Che
