Kyoto | Floral Notes

Here is my next set from the beautiful Kyoto. Since I was younger, I have always been one of those girls who did not want to look very touristy when travelling. I'm not bitchy about it, it's about my aesthetic as a person since ever.

Kyoto, as one may expect, had all these young girls in beautiful kimonos just walking around. Nope, they're not all geishas or anything, just visitors like us. I would have loved to rent a kimono and just rock it around town like no one's business, but in the end, I didn't really find it such a big part of our trip. But I made an effort anyway, wearing my bright floral pieces that kind of mimic those wonderful traditional garb. The skirt is from Gu again, I bought it in Osaka. Yep, I scrapped most of my planned outfits and just winged it from there. Best decision I made for the trip hehehe, and this is not the end of it =)

I miss Japan so much it hurts, but there are so many exciting things happening this October and beyond so after this shoot there will be more to look forward to, not to mention the fact that the air is different, autumn is coming, and it is super exciting. So, do you like my floral look? - Che
