Hong Kong | Rain or Shine

Tee: Asos// Jeans: Motel// Wedges: Nike (Milan)// Sunnies: Asos// Bag: New Look

What do you do when you have something planned and the weather decides to bitch about it? Well, if you're extremely stubborn like Leon and I, you go anyway! These were taken while typhoon Usagi was making its way to Hong Kong - all leading to an inevitable signal no. 8 because this is a mature storm intent on dampening the moods of everyone in its path.

So, The Peak - the highest point of Hong Kong. It's such a lovely place! Scenic, and I can't help but think that it would be beautiful if the sun was up, or down if you like the evening view. In the rainy, icky weather, well...it was a bit underwhelming. It was just so much fun taking pictures so there's a lot - and that's not even half of it. At the Madame Tussauds, I couldn't help but take pictures of all my favorite iconic characters (albeit, wax), doing the moonwalk with Michael Jackson, saving the world with Iron Man and Wolverine, have breakfast at Tiffany's with Holly Golightly, and stand next to Brangelina. It was awesome, and a little creepy, reminds me of 'House of Wax', yes the movie! Then lunch at Bubba Gump - ahhhh, food overload! I wanted to buy the 'Stupid is as stupid does' shirt, but...maybe next time =(

So, it was raining but I still played the game and went with my original outfit planned. These beautiful, amazing, shoes are surprisingly durable. Oh, did I mention it's our anniversary? These are another perfect shoes from Leon. When I first saw them, I thought they would look perfect with these eye-popping jeans I bought months earlier, so I put off wearing them till today. Don't they make your eyes go 'Whoa!' The sunnies were there mainly because the wind and rain was so strong it was in my face, hence, hearts in my eyes. Let's hope for better weather soon! Please please please...hahaha...I want to go shopping. Well, till next time sweeties.

Oh, if a typhoon in your place is much more terrifying than Usagi in HK, please don't try this at home! Stay safe, gonna watch 'Night at the Museum: Smithsonian' now, cheers! Till next time - Che
