Olives & Flowers

Tee: MPT// Jeans: Ana// Bag: New Look// Shoes: Asos// Ring: Taipa Flea Market

These photos were taken a few days ago, when Leon and I shared the same day-off. We did not do much except take these photos, eat a large spread of dim sum and watch 'RED 2' in the cinema. But I guess this is just how I like my day-offs to transpire - no errands, no plans. After spending everyday at work, stressing out, getting one's feet tired from seven hours of standing and getting shouted at (sometimes) by rude guests, I need a stress-free environment during holidays. A simple tee and bright jeans, perfectly simple yet not boring.

Sigh...I don't know why, but working frontline for a large establishment has made me a little disenchanted with people, whether they be superiors, guests or colleagues. But don't think I'm all negative, I've also made a lot of good friends, some I truly care about. I've learned some pretty despicable things that people are capable of, no matter how good they seem to be, and I also learned the opposite - you can have a wrong first impression. Anyways, next time, maybe I'll get an office job - which three years ago I found absolutely abhorrent. Now it seems like the best thing in the world.

Sorry for dumping this big nugget of crap on you sweeties, but there's really nowhere else I'd rather spill. How about you though? How do you feel about the work you're in? See you soon - Che

  2. Those printed pants look really good on you! When I wear printed skinnies, it makes my thighs and hips look humongous. I honestly love this whole outfit! And it looks so good on you! You should wear styles like these more often!

I work part-time(full-time student ehxD) in a restaurant here in Hong Kong at the peak and I can understand what you mean about rude guests and how it's like to have a first wrong impression! I hope you feel better at your work!:)

  3. Simple is always the best way to go with plans, with clothes, with life lol. I like simple. You look beautiful. As for the complaints, I've heard a lot of people become that way when dealing with customers. I have a coworker now who used to work in the museum, dealing with the public constantly, and it's made her disenchanted of dealing with other people too because of their blatant rudeness and self-entitlement antics, so don't feel bad. Just try your hardest to not let them steal your shine away :)

  9. Aah, poor Che ;). I know where you're coming from. The best thing I ever did in my life is to start my own company. I work from a home studio, so I basically don't have any direct contact with a customer. But if customers are rude, they can just kiss something goodbye, if it's totally unnecessary :). It's so nice to have the freedom to do that.

And oh my, those pants....need to have!!! That print is ridiculously gorgeous! Looking cute ;).

    XOXO from the Netherlands,
    Lucia
