Movies for a Day In

Sorry for the making you wait lovelies but don't worry, it's not because of you! I missed you actually, but I was very sick lately. I had the flu and I was confined to my bed and the sofa in pajamas, a sweater and my thick cable knit socks. But I was feeling so much better so I decided, well, why not take photos in my house. So what did I do while sick?? I watched movies, lots of movies, and I thought - why not make a list of my favorites??

So here are three lists, one about what to watch with your boyfriend or husband, then with your girls, and lastly, with the family. Here they are below:

So, here are three types of movies, based on what my boyfriend and I have actually watched and enjoyed. Superhero movies are always a good choice, but the best? The Dark Knight, hands down.

Dark movies not your thing for those cozy days? Go for his funny bone then, and laugh out with this male-targeted comedy, called The Watch. It's lewd and funny - your boy will enjoy it, I promise. And after the testosterone fest, then maybe he'll agree to a rom-com for you. Crazy, Stupid Love is one of the only rom coms Leon and I watched together without him falling asleep - he actually recommended it to me. It's a great, light movie with lots of love and laughs.

The Runner Ups: Life of Pi//Inception//Three Idiots (Indian movie - so make sure to get a copy with subtitles)//Twilight?? Hahaha.

Okay, so maybe the boyfriend's busy, so you call your girls for a sleepover, or just a hang out session. With my friends - here are what I watched:

Finally, a lewd comedy for girls - we laughed out with this movie (though we didn't plan our weddings at the same time). Not your thing? Then a little horror with all your girls. Sorority Row was about a group of girls, and my friends and I couldn't help identifying who was who...I ended up being the nerdy girl. Pfft.

And lastly, another superhero movie (because we all love superhero movies right?). I chose The Avengers specifically because of all the male eye-candy. Not something you'd like to be gushing out to your significant other, but with your girls? Haha, you can watch all the action, all the while comparing who - Thor vs Captain America vs Iron Man - has the best abs. I go for Thor! =)

Runner Ups: The Hangover//The Ugly Truth//Twilight//Gossip Girl (TV Show)

Finally, for those days in with your siblings and parents. I have three sisters who I watch everything with. I guess it will all come down to how old they are. If you're an only child, don't worry, these movies are all great anyway. So for the last list, here are my movies:

If you have younger siblings, cartoons are the best bet. Despicable Me is one of my favorites. It is a great cartoon, with cute minions. If your siblings are older, like mine, then I'm pretty sure you'd get a kick out of scary movies. No one likes to annoy me more after a horror movie like my sisters. Insidious is a great starter, because for all intents and purposes it's not actually scary, but it is!

And finally, nothing is more effortless than a movie based on popular fiction. Chances are your siblings will already know it, and the setting will be very familiar. I didn't put Harry Potter on here, because since I was the only one who read it, I had to explain everything every five minutes. The Hunger Games is easy enough to understand.

Runner-Ups: Castle (TV Show)//How to Train Your Dragon//Megamind//Harry Potter//Paranormal Activity

And there you have it! Some movie choices for your days in. Have you watched any of these movies? What movies on this list would you find interesting? Let me know, sweeties, hope I helped out just a bit. Oh, and do tell me if you'd want a list about books to read, okay? Till next time sweeties! See you later, Alligator,

Haha, and as for the avengers...well, Thor has my vote for the right body-build. But if Iron Man isn't sexy too...I can't decide! >_<
