Koh Samet Travel Diary

When I know I will see a beautiful beach I don't know what happens but I usually end up in calm, ocean blues. For our last day in Koh Samet, we decided to head to the hills via motorbike and find some hidden beach somewhere up there. Well...no hidden beach, but Koh Samet is a hell of a drive, with so much to see. The roads are so quiet save for the occasional tourists or locals in similar bikes. Hellos are given, and then they go on their way. Outfit-wise, I looked pretty touristy, didn't I? Well, it was hot and stuffy, and we weren't gonna be in the water the whole time. I had to adapt somehow right? So this peplum top and my denim shorts (which I now realize you will find in almost all my travel diaries!)

The last few hours though we spent back at our beach, sipping cocktails like we had all the time in the world. Haha...we used the hotel's public shower area while other guests gave us weird looks...no choice, but it was a bit embarrassing. It was better than nothing, as a few hours after that we were back in Bangkok to heavy traffic and rain. A few hours for souvenirs and dinner, and then a long hot bath back at our final hotel, Four Points by Sheraton, watching the Godfather II and eating some souvenirs meant for our friends back home...shhhh...don't tell!

Anyways, where would you go for vacation next? Let me know...I'm already planning our next trip. Somewhere farther. Well, that's it for now, see you soon - Che
