Ladylike with a Twist

Today, I am almost a proper lady. I guess I can't help it with this uber-cool skirt, courtesy of Front Row Shop. They have this great modern lady aesthetic present with all their pieces, like the 21st century working girl. I had a hard time choosing, believe me, but this skirt's minimalism combined with the pointy shape won over everything else. You can check them out too, just check my sidelinks :)

Why a twist? That is the question. Well, because I chose to wear a not-so-lady camo tee from Me and George (again!) in HK. Well, that's me in a heartbeat. You can't expect me to actually go all mature and ladylike right? There's always gotta be something.

Ugh. I look so tired in these pictures, and I am. I have never been this exhausted before. Between work, blog and now relocating - I've hit the trifecta. But good news is, we've done with our tiny room. It's not so much a bedroom, but more a walk-in closet with a bed, hahahah! But believe me that's just how I want it. Sigh...nothing else much to tell you guys this time because it's been all sleep with me, but see you soon anyways - Che

  1. Haha the twist is great - I think the camo top makes the outfit really chic and the skirt is lovely! Cute satchel too!

  3. this skirt sure is a tricky one! the fabric looks kind of sporty to me but at the same time the shape tells you another story. so I think combining with a military print tee and fierce heels sounds and looks like the perfect plan!

    1. Thanks Maiken! Oh yeah, it was quite tricky at first, but when I started focusing on the fact that it was so so basic (in terms of color and cut), everything fell into place =)

  4. Oh my, those legs. This skirt is so perfect for you Che! Totally understand your twist on a ladylike outfit. I just can't go mature and ladylike at the same time neither. I feel really unconfortable in it. It always needs a touch of something not so ladylike :), exactly like you. We are so alike!

Good luck on your week of killer graveyard shifts!
